Calendar
See your Dash cases inside Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar.
Put your cases on your own calendar
- 1Open Settings and tap the "Calendar sync" section (or use the bottom of the Schedule page).
- 2Tap your provider tile: "Google", "Apple", or "Outlook". Outlook asks whether it's a personal (outlook.com) or work/school (Microsoft 365) account — pick where your calendar actually lives.
- 3Prefer manual setup? Tap "Add it by hand instead", copy the link, and follow the per-app steps listed there. On iPhone: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar → paste.
- The feed is read-only and shares only structured fields — the surgeon, hospital, and time — so patient details never ride along.
- Calendar apps refresh on their own schedule — a new or changed case usually appears within a few hours; Google can take up to a day.
- On a Mac, set the Dash calendar's Auto-refresh to "Every hour" (right-click it → Get Info) — the Mac default only checks weekly.
- Outlook: sign in at outlook.com on a computer first, then Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste — Microsoft's one-tap button loses the calendar link if it has to sign you in. The Outlook phone app shows it once added on the web.
- If Outlook says it couldn't add the calendar — or that it already exists but nothing shows — add ?v=2 to the end of your link and try again; Microsoft remembers an earlier failed attempt for a while.
- Calendar sync is included with every plan — set it up any time from Settings.
Reset your calendar link
- 1In Settings → "Calendar sync", open "Add it by hand instead" and tap "Reset link".
- 2The old link stops working immediately — re-subscribe with the new one.
- Reset any time you think the link leaked — it's the only credential the feed has.
- There is no inbound sync — Dash publishes to your calendar; nothing imports back into Dash.
