Getting started
Create your account, sign in, and load your first hospitals and trays.
Create your account
- 1Go to dashcheck.app and choose "Start free", or open dashcheck.app/register directly.
- 2Fill in "Full name", "Email", and a password that meets the checklist shown ("At least 8 characters", an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and a number). Phone number is optional.
- 3Tap "Create account".
- 4Open the confirmation email we send and tap the link — it signs you in and lands you on your dashboard.
- On the web you can tap "Continue with Google" instead and skip the password entirely.
- If the confirmation link expires, sign in anyway — the login page will tell you if you need a fresh link.
Get the iPhone app
Dash is on the App Store as DashCheckApp — the same account and data as the web app.
- 1Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for "DashCheckApp", or go to https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dashcheckapp/id6794478291.
- 2Tap "Get" to install, then open Dash.
- 3Sign in with the same email and password you use on dashcheck.app — everything you've already added is there.
- Plans and billing stay on the web — manage your subscription in Settings at dashcheck.app.
- Visiting dashcheck.app in Safari on your iPhone also shows a banner that takes you straight to the listing.
Sign in, or reset a forgotten password
- 1Go to dashcheck.app/login, enter your email and password, and tap "Sign in".
- 2Forgot it? Tap "Forgot password?" above the sign-in button.
- 3Enter your account email and tap "Send reset link".
- 4Open the email, tap the link, choose a new password, and tap "Set new password" — you stay signed in.
- There is no separate change-password screen in Settings — the reset-link flow above is also how you change your password whenever you want.
- If the reset link expires you'll see "Your reset link has expired. Please request a new one." — just send a fresh one.
Add your first hospital
- 1Open "Hospitals" in the bottom navigation and tap "Add hospital" (it reads "Add another hospital" once you have one).
- 2Enter the "Hospital name" (address is optional) and tap "Add hospital".
- Hospitals are where trays get checked in — add the sites you service before moving inventory around.
Pin the hospitals you visit most
- 1Open "Hospitals" in the bottom navigation and tap "Edit" to the right of "All hospitals".
- 2Tap any hospital to pin it. Tap it again to unpin.
- 3Tap "Done" when you're finished — your pinned sites move to the top of the list.
- Pins are yours alone. Everyone on your team sees the same hospitals in their own order.
- Everything else stays in alphabetical order, so a site you haven't pinned is always where you left it.
Import your existing tray list
Already have a spreadsheet? Import it instead of typing trays one by one.
- 1From the dashboard, tap "Import from spreadsheet".
- 2Drop in the list you already have — any column names work. Dash matches columns for tray name, tray number, category, and hospital, and shows you the match to fix before importing.
- 3Confirm the import. Trays with a hospital column land at that hospital; the rest land in Storage.
- Imported trays start without levels — their Levels read "Not set". Open a tray and tap "Edit" to set the number of levels.
- Anything containing “consign” in your category column imports as Consignment; everything else imports as Loaner.
- Starting from the downloaded template? Its example rows (and any row starting with //) are ignored automatically — just add your trays below them.
